Introduction

BBR collects information about you Whenever You use BBR – Rides & Safety Mobile Application. This Privacy policy describes the information we collect, how it is used and shared, your continued use of the Application shall be considered as Your consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. We recommend you to read this policy to know what information we collect and how we use it.

Following is the terms used in BBR Privacy Policy and in terms and conditions.

“Application”refers to the BBR – Rides and Safety mobile app and website, and all the features and services therein.

“Account” refers to the User’s account on the Application.  

“User” is an individual who has created an account on the Application.

“Passenger” means the User who is eligible to request Rides on the Application and uses its features.

“Driver” means the user who is eligible to get Ride requests from the Passengers and uses his Vehicle to provide a transportation service to the Passengers.

“Vehicle” refers to the Driver’s personal car which fulfills the conditions set in the Vehicle Requirements of T&Cs

“Ride” means a trip from the mutually agreed pickup point to the drop off point on the Application between the Driver and the Passenger.

“You”, “Your” or “Yourself” refers to the User who is accessing the Application.

“We”, “Us”, or “Our” refers to BBR and its parent company (Zinzir)   

PLEASE READ THIS PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING OR USING THE BBR PASSENGER APPLICATION. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY, PLEASE DO NOT INSTALL OR USE THE BBR PASSENGER APPLICATION.

Scope and Application

This privacy policy applies to Drivers of BBR who has registered themselves as BBR Driver after fulfilling the BBR Driver Requirements.

Information that you provide

You will be asked to provide some information when you create or modify Your Account, request to use our Services, collect payment for the Rides, fill survey forms, contact customer support or communicate with Us.

Documentation

If a User wants to sign up as BBR driver he should provide a copy of his National ID card or Tazkira, Driving License, Vehicle license and any other documents asked by BBR.

Confirmation of Wakeel Guzar

Any User who wants to sign up as BBR driver must fill and confirm the form of BBR from Wakeel Guzar so BBR makes sure the driver is living in the confirmed location. It’s the responsibility of the driver to inform BBR in case of any address change time to time & provide update form of Wakeel Guzar from the new place of residence.

Background Check (Police Verification)

The applicants who have signed up as BBR driver, their background will be checked & they will be verified from police at the ministry of interior so BBR makes sure he/she is not indulged in any crime.

Whenever you create or update your BBR account BBR needs information. You should provide your name, email, phone numbers, postal address, home address, login name and password, address, payment or banking information, credit/debit card information, National ID Card, Passport details, birth date, photo, signature and any other information you choose to share.

Information we collect through the use of our services

When you use our services, we receive the following information automatically after you sign up or login on the BBR Driver app and give it the required device permissions.

Location information

Depending on the BBR services that you use, and your app settings or device permissions, we may collect your precise or approximate location information as determined through data, GPS, IP address, MAC address or Wi-Fi.

Transaction Information

We may collect the transaction information related to Your use of the Application. The transaction information may include the types of services You Have Provided, date and time of the service, amount charged, distance traveled, pick-up and drop off points, and other related transaction information.

Device Information

The Application may collect your device’s IMEI number, MAC address, IP address, your mobile operating system, preferred languages, device motion information, mobile network information, or other information that the Application might need for operating.

Communications

We enable users to communicate with each other so the ride becomes active and completed accurately. For example, enabling drivers and riders, to call, text, or send voice messages.

Usage and Preference Information

We collect information related to how You use the Application. We use Google Analytics and our own API’s to collect data on Your preferences and settings on the Application. In some cases, we also use cookies to distinguish Your device from others. 

Log Information

The server creates a log file of all the activities that involve server calls. The log file may include information like device IP address, timestamp of the activity, type of activity, app crashes and other system activities.

Information we get through other sources

We may also receive information from other sources and combine that with Personal Data we receive from you or collect through our services. These may include:

Feedbacks of users, ratings, and comments.

Users providing information in connection with claims and disputes.

Information from Financial, Marketing or insurance service providers.

How we use your information

BBR collects the information and use it to provide safer, reliable, affordable, easier and convenient ride hailing services. The following are the details of how we use the information.

Most of the services which we provide and the features of BBR app depends on the information which you provide. We use your personal information to provide ride-hailing services, enable personal safety features, facilitate Payments, authenticate Users and estimate fares and time of arrival.

Provide Ride Hailing Services:

We collect your information to improve and maintain our ride hailing services to ensure reliable, easier and affordable rides.

  1. Creating your BBR Driver account
  2. Facilitating rides
  3. Process payments for those services
  4. Tracking progress of rides
  5. Perform internal operations including debugging, testing, and conducting data analysis and research.

Communication between user and Driver

BBR uses the information to enable the communication between the drivers and the passengers. For example, the profile information of the Driver and Passenger are exchanged between them when the Driver accepts the ride request of the Passenger.

Safety and Security

We collect the driver’s National identity card or tazkira, driving license, car license and Wakeel Guzar confirmation letter to ensure security and safety of users. We conduct background checks, and verify most of the drivers from ministry of interior in Kabul to confirm that the Driver is not indulged in any illegal activity. Moreover, we use the device, location and usage information to prevent and detect any fraud or misconduct. Additionally we use ratings by the users to evaluate the behavior and performance of the Drivers.

Customer Support

We also use your information to assist you when you send queries or contact Our customer support services. Additionally, we use your information to communicate with you about Our services, new updates, promotions, news and surveys. Moreover, direct your questions to the appropriate customer support person, investigate, and address your concerns, and monitor and improve our customer support responses.

Research and Development

We use the information We collect to test, analyse our Application and further improve and develop the Application.

Legal Proceedings

We may use the information We collect to investigate or address claims or disputes relating to your use of BBR’s services, or as otherwise allowed by applicable law, or as requested by regulators, government entities, and official inquiries.

Information Sharing

We never share or sell Your Personal Information with a third party for any commercial purposes. However, in the following instances we do share Your information.

The Application shares the personal details, location information and ride requests between the Passengers and Drivers to enable the ride hailing services. For example, The Passenger’s name, phone number and pick-up/drop-off locations are shared with the Driver and The Driver’s vehicle make, model, color, license plate number, vehicle photo, Driver’s photo and location are shared with the Passenger.

The Application also shares Your personal details, location information and trip details with the Users you have chosen to share Your information with.

We may share Your information with the law enforcement officials and government authorities within the confinement of the applicable law of Afghanistan.

We may share Your information with a third-party company in an event of merging with that company or when that company acquires the Application legally.

Storage and Transfer of Personal Information

 Your Use of the Application shall be considered as Your consent that we can store your personal information on Our servers and transfer it to servers out of the country you are residing in where the data protection laws are different. We make sure your data is safe wherever we store it.

With your consent BBR may share your information other than as described in this policy if we notify you and you consent to the sharing.

Data breach

We take every step to avoid a data breach. However, no system is safe from the theft of data. If We become aware of a data breach, we will report it to You within 2-3 days.

Cookies

Cookies are small computer files that are stored on your device and may include a unique identifier for Your device and store some important information. Our Application may use cookies to remember user settings and preferences.

Links to Other Sites

 The Application may include links to other external websites that are not run by Us. You will be directed to the external websites when you click on these links. We hold no responsibility for the content, privacy policy, and terms and conditions of these websites. You may access these websites at your own discretion.

Drivers Obligations

The driver is obliged to the following policies of BBR.

The Driver will be paying BBR the commission agreed between BBR and the driver. if the Driver fails to pay the commission within 10 days after the due date, the Driver will be called and informed to pay the commission, if the driver does not pay the commission within 15- to 20-days after the due date, BBR will contact the Driver for paying the commission for second and third time. If the driver does not pay the commission within 25 days after the due date, he will be charged 10 AFN per day and if the driver does not pay the commission within 30 days after the deadline, the drivers account will be blocked.

The driver must obey/follow all the laws and rules and regulations of Afghanistan traffic, ministry of transportation & municipality.

BBR will not be responsible for any disputes between the Driver and Passenger regarding the payments for the Rides. BBR will charge the Driver a commission for every Ride We deem authentic.

BBR is not responsible for any kind of disputes between the Driver and Passenger including not paying the fare, terror accidents, kidnapping, clashes, fighting, armors presence, or any kind of criminal activities. It is the whole responsibility of the Driver and Passenger to deal with any kind of disputes between them.

The driver should be very polite with the passengers and avoid drugs, smoke and any kind of alcohol during journey.

If Government imposed taxes on BBR Driver profits and earnings, the driver is supposed to pay the government tax.

The fare of the ride is calculated by BBR and BBR has the right to change the fare whenever it wants.

If you as BBR Driver carry out any illegal activity or cybercrime, you will face legal proceedings and Your account will be blocked and You will never be allowed to sign up as BBR Driver.

The driver should have a valid driving license.

Information Retention and Deletion

BBR retains your account as long as you maintain your BBR Driver account. Driver may request deletion of their accounts at any time, but for termination of his contract with BBR the driver should give one-month prior notice. Following such request, BBR deletes the information that it is not required to retain, and restricts access to or use of any information it is required to retain.

In certain circumstances, BBR may be unable to delete your account, such as if there is an outstanding credit on your account or an unresolved claim or dispute until the resolution of the issue preventing deletion.

BBR may also retain certain information if necessary for its legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention and enhancing users' safety and security. For example, if BBR shuts down a user's account because of unsafe behavior or security incidents, BBR may retain certain information about that account to prevent that user from opening a new BBR account in the future.

Marketing opt-outs

You may opt out of receiving promotional notifications and emails from BBR.

Underage’s Privacy

 As mentioned in our Terms and Conditions, people below the age of 18 are not eligible to use Our Application. We assume all our Users are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information of people under the age of 18. If we become aware that the information We have stored belongs to an underage, we will immediately remove it from our servers.

Security Precautions

Your BBR Driver profile is password-protected so that only you have access to your BBR account and you will be responsible for transactions from your BBR Driver account.

 Amendments to the Privacy Policy

We may bring amendments to this Privacy Policy from time to time. The amendments shall be effective upon its posting. Your continued use of the Application shall be considered as Your consent to agree with Our Entire Privacy Policies as amended.

Passengers Obligations

The Passenger of BBR should request a ride when he/she needs ride and BBR does not allow passengers to request a ride when they don’t want to travel with BBR. If the Passenger cancels the ride that has been accepted by a Driver, he/she will be responsible for the fare of the ride he/she has requested.

  1. If the Passenger requests rides and cancels them more than 3 times his/her account will be blocked.
  2. The Passenger should be very polite and should maintain good manner with the driver during the ride.
  3. The passenger should pay the fare to the driver according to application.
  4. The Passenger should request a ride through application only.
  5. The Passenger and the driver should not use any type of Alcohol or drugs during the ride.
  6. The Passenger is responsible for any type of disputes with the Driver and BBR is not responsible for any disputes, including safety & security of user & drivers.
  7. BBR will not be held accountable for any harm or loss caused to the Passenger, Driver or other pedestrians due to terror attack, accident, or any other criminal activity before, during or after a Ride .
  8. BBR does not allow the use of BBR Rides and BBR Driver apps or any of its services for any illegal or criminal activity and will not be responsible if the app is used as such.
  9. If You as BBR Passenger carry out any illegal activity or cybercrime you will face legal proceedings, you will be sued by BBR and Your account will be blocked.

Information Retention and Deletion

BBR retains your account as long as you maintain your BBR Driver account.
